VinoVonk is a platform by Jeroen Vonk. This privacy policy explains which personal data is processed, why, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data is processed

Contact form

When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, and the content of your message are processed. This is necessary to respond to your enquiry. Data is not retained longer than necessary for handling the correspondence.

Newsletter

Signing up for the "In het Glas" newsletter is handled through Beehiiv. Beehiiv processes your email address for delivery purposes. Beehiiv has its own privacy policy; VinoVonk has access to your email address solely for managing the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every newsletter.

Website visits

VinoVonk uses Cloudflare for hosting and security. Cloudflare processes technical connection data (such as IP addresses) for security and performance purposes. If analytics are deployed, this will be noted in a future version of this policy.

Legal basis for processing

  • Contact form: legitimate interest (responding to enquiries) or performance of a contract.
  • Newsletter: consent (opt-in upon sign-up).
  • Technical processing: legitimate interest (security and availability of the website).

Sharing with third parties

Personal data is not sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Data is shared only with service providers necessary for the operation of VinoVonk (Cloudflare, Beehiiv), and only for the stated purpose.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Access: you may request to see what data is held about you.
  • Rectification: you may request that inaccurate data be corrected.
  • Erasure: you may request deletion of your data.
  • Objection: you may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Withdrawal of consent: you may withdraw consent previously given at any time.

Requests can be sent to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Cookies

VinoVonk uses functional cookies to store your theme preference (light/dark) in your browser. This is a local setting only with no tracking purpose. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.

Retention periods

Contact data is retained for a maximum of two years after correspondence is concluded. Newsletter subscriber data is retained for as long as the subscription is active.

Changes

This privacy policy may be updated when services or legislation change. The date of the last update appears at the bottom of this page.
